I create new images in my imagination and visualize pictures and forms which, with the assistance of trained designers, are committed to paper. I have been constructing costumes since the formation of the band and many of these have won prizes both at the pre- Notting Hill gala and at the Notting Hill event itself.

Flamingo Carnival Arts recognize Carnival as a living art form which is consistently evolving and developing, drawing on its cultural, technological and economic environment It seeks to work with as broad a range of people as possible, bringing together professional expertise with untrained enthusiasm and creativity in what is a truly social art, culminating in the highest quality. Participating, performing and spectating are open to all By integrating many art forms - art, design, craft, mime, dance, music, theatre and storytelling - Flamingo seeks to liberate the imaginations of all who come into contact with its work
